\u201cIt\u2019s really pleasing to see that approach he\u2019s taken, responding to what could be seen as a setback, and he\u2019s come back stronger for it. Shreyas had a great tour in Ireland with the U17 squad at the Celtic Cup and proved a real handful on the wickets over there,\u201d he said.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
\u201cHe\u2019s had a tough journey in terms of the teams he\u2019s had to graft to get into, and as someone who wasn\u2019t in our wider squad at the start of the year, he\u2019s come on a great deal and turned heads with some of his performances, so he deserves his selection.\"<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Scotland\u2019s squad will fly to South Africa on December 30 for a training camp at Potchefstroom, before heading to Zimbabwe for playing warm-up games against India in Bulawayo and Bangladesh in Harare.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
The tournament begins for Scotland on January 15 when they take on hosts Zimbabwe in Harare, followed by Group B matches against Pakistan and England on January 19 and 21, respectively.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
