    "editor1": "<p><strong>Mumbai, Aug 2 (CRICKETNMORE):<\/strong> The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday announced that India will take on the West Indies in a two-match Twenty20 International series in the United States on August 27 and 28.&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cricketnmore.com\/cricket-special\/when-india-chased-403-in-the-test-match-in-1976-at-queen-s-park-oval--17355\"><span style=\"color:#FF0000;\">The Great Chase by team India against West Indies.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The matches are scheduled to be played in Central Broward Regional Park, at Fort Lauderdale in Florida.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>BCCI president Anurag Thakur said the matches will be played in the US to reach out to new markets and audiences and also afford a great opportunity for the cricket fans in America to watch the two champion sides in action.&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cricketnmore.com\/cricket-special\/big-hitting-a-special-talent-of-west-indies-players--17007\"><span style=\"color:#FF0000;\">Big Hitting, A Special talent of West Indies players.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&quot;As part of our continuous efforts to reach out to new markets and audiences, I am very happy to announce that Team India will play two T20Is against the current world champions West Indies in the United States. This will be a great opportunity for the cricket fans in America to watch the two champion sides in action. This will be developed into an annual cricketing event in the United States,&rdquo; Thakur said.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Ajay Shirke, BCCI secretary, said: &ldquo;This initiative is path-breaking in terms of the expansion of our great sport. It is our endeavour to make every possible effort to connect with fans in different parts of the world.&rdquo;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) president Whycliffe &lsquo;Dave&#39; Cameron called it a great initiative to develop cricket in the US.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&ldquo;This will be a great initiative in our continued efforts to develop cricket in the Americas (North and South America) a very important market,&rdquo; Cameron said.<\/p>\r\n",
