The International Cricket Council (ICC) said Pratika was penalised for two separate incidents that took place within a short period of time.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
In the 18th over of India\u2019s chase, Pratika made avoidable physical contact with fast bowler Lauren Filer while taking a single. Then, after being dismissed in the next over, she made similar avoidable contact with left-arm spinner Sophie Ecclestone on her way back to the dressing room.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Apart from the fine, one demerit point has been added to Pratika\u2019s disciplinary record, for whom it was the first offence in a 24-month period.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Meanwhile, England\u2019s slow over rate fine came after they were found one over short of the target after time allowances were taken into consideration.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
\"In accordance with Article 2.22 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to minimum over-rate offences, players are fined five per cent of their match fee for every over their side fails to bowl in the allotted time.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
