Whilst his father gave his blessings, Axar\u2019s mother wept tears of happiness for India\u2019s victory.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
\u201cToday India won the Champions Trophy and I am so happy that I can\u2019t stop shedding tears of happiness. My son performed well, and the team was great as well, and they will bring the trophy home,\u2019 Axar\u2019s mother Preeti Patel told IANS.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
This was India\u2019s fourth appearance in the ICC finals in two years and their second victory after lifting the 2024 T20 World Cup. It is also India\u2019s third Champions Trophy title after previously lifting the title in 2002 (shared with Sri Lanka) and 2013.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Axar\u2019s brother, Sanship Patel, also commented on the happy moment for his family.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
