Green has played 28 Tests for Australia since his debut in December 2020, amassing 1,377 runs while averaging 36.23 with the bat and taking 35 wickets at an average of 35.31. Green played an important role in Australia's 2023 World Test Championship Final victory over India by taking 2-44 in the first innings.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Green has not played since September last year because of a stress fracture in the lower back which needed surgery in Christchurch, New Zealand. He is expected to be playing as a specialist batter for Gloucestershire.
