In Harmanpreet\u2019s absence, left-handed opener Smriti Mandhana will be India\u2019s captain, while senior all-rounder Deepti Sharma will serve as the vice-captain. Smriti had a productive 2024 with the bat \u2013 making 736 runs in 21 T20I innings and amassing 747 runs in 13 ODIs.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
The three-match series, starting on January 10, followed by matches on January 12 and 15, is India\u2019s first international assignment of this year. For the first time since 2006, India will be playing Ireland in a bilateral women\u2019s ODI series.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
