    "editor1": "<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Lahore, April 4 (Cricketnmore):<\/strong> Pakistan&#39;s head coach Waqar Younis resigned on Monday weeks after his team&#39;s humiliating exit from the World Twenty20 in the group stages.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pakistan lost three consecutive matches at the group stage of the World T20, including a bruising defeat to India, to exit the tournament amidst heavy criticism.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pakistan&#39;s T20 captain Shahid Afridi has also stepped down from his post accepting responsibility for the poor show.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&ldquo;I am resigning from my post today with a heavy heart,&rdquo; he was quoted as saying by dawn.com in a press conference at the Gaddafi Stadium here.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The former captain said the Pakistan Cricket Board&#39;s (PCB) failure to implement his recommendations after the 2015 World Cup and the &quot;leak&quot; of his confidential report after the team&#39;s disastrous run at the World T20 played a &#39;big&#39; role in his walking away from his post three months before his contract expires.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&ldquo;The cricket board&rsquo;s failure to work on my recommendations after the 2015 World Cup is the major reason for my disappointment,&rdquo; Waqar added.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&ldquo;And the leak of a confidential report after the World T20 also influenced my decision. Ultimately, I want the betterment of Pakistan cricket and it is only right to walk away. I will, however, be available to help Pakistan in anyway,&rdquo; he added.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Agency.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<hr \/>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n",
