The governing body has proposed the beginning of the new league in August\/September 2024.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The League will initially comprise six teams each for men and women that will participate in the league under a round-robin format during each season, with Play-off Matches following the first round to decide the winner, runner-up, and third-placed team in the League. The DDCA also has the right to change the number of teams participating in the League as it may deem appropriate from time to time.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Bidders will have to put up a minimum bid of Rs 25,00,000 (twenty-five lakh) and after evaluations, the qualified bidders will have to give a presentation before the final decision is made.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The League will initially comprise six teams each for men and women that will participate in the league under a round-robin format during each season, with Play-off Matches following the first round to decide the winner, runner-up, and third-placed team in the League.
