India registered the win inside the first three days of the Test. Ravichandran Ashwin was the top bowler in the 2nd innings with his 5-fer.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>After India&#39;s lower middle order frustrated Australia with the bat in the first session on Day 3, the visitors&#39; batter knelt in front of master mind spinner Ravi Ashwin. After India posted 400 in their first innings, courtesy of Rohit Sharma&#39;s ton and inspiring fifties by Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel, Australia came out with a trail of 223 runs to cover.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>However, Ravichandran Ashwin proved unplayable on a 3rd day Nagpur pitch. The 36-year-old equalled Anil Kumble&#39;s record of most 5-fers on Indian soil as he grabbed the important wickets of both openers, Usman Khawaja (1) and David Warner (1), along with Matt Renshaw (2), Peter Handscomb (6), &amp; Alex Carey (10). Apart from Ashwin, Jadeja and Shami managed 2 wickets each in the 2nd innings while Axar Patel scalped one wicket.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>In the first innings, Australia were bowled out for just 177 runs as comeback man Ravindra Jadeja picked up a 5-wicket haul.
