Number 3 & 4 – Virat Kohli & Suryakumar Yadav (India)<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n Partnerships between Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav were instances in the tournament for the Indian fans to await and cherish. The duo is a treat to see with Kohli stealing cheeky singles and doubles with occasional boundaries, while Suryakumar smashed the bowlers in a stylish way. <\/p>\r\n\r\n Virat Kohli scored 296 runs in 6 matches as he remained the highest run-scorer in the tournament. Kohli maintained a tremendous average of 98.66 with a decent strike rate of 136.40, scoring 4 half-centuries in the tournament. Suryakumar Yadav on the other hand smacked 239 runs in 6 innings at a magnificent strike rate of 189.68, with 3 fifties to his name. <\/p>\r\n\r\n Number 5 – Glenn Phillips (New Zealand)<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n New Zealand's explosive right-handed batter Glenn Phillips showed tremendous form in the T20 World Cup 2022, as he scored 201 runs in 5 innings at an average of 40.20 and struck at 158.26. Phillips smashed an amazing ton against Sri Lanka, scoring 104 runs in 64 balls with 10 fours & 4 sixes. Apart from this, Phillips also scored 62 runs against England in the Super 12 stage match.<\/p>\r\n\r\n Number 6 – Sikandar Raza (Zimbabwe)<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n Zimbabwe all-rounder Sikandar Raza was in top form in the T20 World Cup 2022 as he carried the Zimbabwe team through to the qualifiers. A handy all-rounder, Raza scored 219 runs in 8 innings at a strike rate of 147.97, registering a half-century to his name. With the ball, Raza picked up 10 wickets in 8 matches, averaging 15.60 at an adequate economy of 6.50. <\/p>\r\n\r\n Number 7 – Shadab Khan (Pakistan)<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n A potential upcoming star of Pakistan cricket, Shadab Khan also impressed with his all-round skills in the T20 World Cup 2022. Shadab maintained a strike rate of 168.96 for his 98 runs in the tournament, including a fifty, which was a turning point for Pakistan's campaign in the T20 World Cup. After losing to Zimbabwe and India, Pakistan were in a do-or-die stage against South Africa where Shadab stepped as he smacked a fifty at a strike rate of 200+, which filled the team with confidence. The leg spinner also picked up 15 wickets with the ball in hand. <\/p>\r\n\r\n Number 8 – Sam Curran (England)<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n England pacer Sam Curran was adjudged the 'Player of the Match' in the finals and 'Player of the Tournament' for his tremendous bowling efforts. In the 6 matches he played, Curran picked up 13 wickets at an average of 11.38, while maintaining an economy of 6.52. Sam Curran remained as the 2nd highest wicket-taker in the tournament after Wanindu Hasaranga (15 wickets), and was the only bowler to pick up a 5-fer in the tournament. <\/p>\r\n\r\n Number 9 – Anrich Nortje (South Africa)<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n Despite South Africa's unexpected exit in the Super 12 stage, pacer Anrich Nortje managed to put the spotlight on himself as he grabbed 11 wickets in 5 matches at an average of 7.54 while having an outstanding economy of 5.37. Nortje grabbed two 4-fers in the tournament. <\/p>\r\n\r\n Number 10 – Mark Wood (England)<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n England pacer Mark Wood was lethal in his bowling in the World Cup as he picked up 9 wickets in 5 matches at an average of 8.54 while mainting an economy of 5.37. England missed his services in the semi-final and final stage as he was out due to an injury. Nevertheless, he remained a strong part of England's bowling attack along with Sam Curran. <\/p>\r\n\r\n Number 11 – Shaheen Shah Afridi (Pakistan)<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n Pakistan strike pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi went wicketless in the first two matches as Pakistan conceded a defeat against India and Zimbabwe. However, the bowler gained his rhythm as he went on to pick up 11 wickets in the next 5 matches at an average of 14.09 and an economy of 6.15.
