NED vs PAK: <\/strong>After coming in from two close defeats in Super 12, against India and Zimbabwe, Pakistan finally bounced back as they thrashed the Netherlands by 6 wickets in the T20 World Cup 2022. This is Pakistan's first win on Australian soil in T20Is.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Chasing a meagre target of 92 runs, Pakistan captain Babar Azam continued his dip in form as he was yet again dismissed for a single-digit score. Babar scored 4 runs before he was run out by van der Merwe. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

Babar's partner, Mohammad Rizwan carried the innings as he scored 49 runs off 39 balls with 5 fours. After he was dismissed in the 13th over by van Meekeren. Pakistan were already at 83 and managed to win the match in 13.5 overs with 6 wickets remaining. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

Fakhar Zaman contributed with 20 runs while Shan Masood scored 12 runs. For the Netherlands, Brandon Glover picked up 2 wickets while Paul van Meekeren managed 1 wicket. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

In the first innings, Netherlands' batting order was shattered as Pakistan pacers along with Shadab Khan ripped through the Dutch batting. Colin Ackermann was the top scorer with 27 runs while captain Scott Edwards scored 15 runs as these two added 35 runs off 37 balls.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

None of the other batters were able to cross the double-digit mark for the Netherlands. Bas de Leede (6*) had to retire hurt after receiving a ripping bouncer from Haris Rauf. For Pakistan, Shadab Khan grabbed 3 wickets while Mohammad Wasim Jr. registered 2 scalps to his name. Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf managed 1 wicket each. <\/p>\r\n\r\n
