Sri Lankan batters came to chase a low target of 128 runs, Kusal Mendis continued his last match form and nailed unbeaten 68 runs in 43 balls including 5 fours and 3 sixes.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Mendis along with De Silva scored 63 runs opening the wicket partnership and giving a solid start to their team. De Silva got 31 runs off 25 balls with his bat including 2 fours and one six.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

In the end, Charith Asalanka provided a match-winning partnership of 70 runs where he smashed 31 off 22 deliveries.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Irish bowlers weren't able to put any contingency to win. They seemed colorless as the team only got one Lankan wicket. Gareth Delany was the only bowler to get a wicket in the form of Di Silva.   <\/p>\r\n\r\n
