The Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Capitals match 69 was one of the most memorable days of the IPL 2022 not only because of the thrilling game but because of all the hype that it had and the consequences it had. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

The result of the MI vs DC had two consequences: a) if Delhi would have won then Royal Challengers Bangalore would have been knocked out of the tournament b) if Delhi loses then RCB will enter the IPL 2022 playoffs. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

It was because RCB had finished their league stage with 16 points but with a negative NRR. DC had 14 points in 13 games and NRR in positive so they just had to win the game and RCB would be out. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

This resulted in massive hype for the game as all the RCB members including the players and social media handle openly supported Mumbai Indians. The hype was so much so that RCB even changed their Twitter handle color to blue in support of MI. <\/p>\r\n\r\n
