He also became the top-scorer in youth ODIs, remaining unbeaten on 113 to hoist his team to 256/6 after Bangladesh had been reduced to 17/2 at the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium here.

"The truth is I enjoy batting in such situations which don't always come. It's not that I want the team to be under pressure but when such situations arise, I enjoy batting. I try to guide the team out of difficulties," the youngster said.

Sunday's match-winning knock followed a superb 73 that earned him the best player award in the opener against South Africa too.

"This is very good for me. I have batted under such situations before but never managed to finish the job. Now I'm slowly being able to do so. It will be useful for me in future."
