Chennai, Dec 2 (CRICKETNMORE): Delhi and Vidarbha played out a draw in Group B Ranji Trophy cricket match at the Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering Ground here on Friday.

Rain played a spoilsport as only 19 overs could be bowled on the fourth day where Delhi picked up three points against Vidarbha due to their first innings lead and Vidarbha got one.

After the penultimate day was washed, Delhi declared on their day-two total of 250/8, with a lead of 67. 

In reply, Vidarbha scored 37/3, with seamers Sumit Narwal, Navdeep Saini and Vikas Tokas picking up one wicket each.

In Patiala, Saurashtra defeated Maharashtra by four wickets at the Dhruve Pandove Stadium.

Chasing a small target of 58 runs, lower-order bastmen Arpit Vasavada (8 not out) and Prerak Mankad (14 not out) completed the proceedings for Saurashtra.

For Maharashtra, Krishnappa Gowtham scalped four wickets while Abrar Kazi took two wickets.

In Vizianagaram, Jharkhand defeated Assam by five wickets in the Group B match at the Dr PVG Raju ACA Sports Complex.

The win pushed Jharkhand to first place on the Group B points table with 32 from seven matches. 

Chasing 110, Ishan Kishan (9) and Sumit Kumar (10) finished the proceedings for Jharkhand with five wickets remaining.

Arup Das scalped three wickets while Dhiraj Goswami took two wickets for Assam.

In Nagpur, Bengal and Mumbai played out a draw on the last day of their Ranji match at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Ground.

Chasing 308, Shubham Ranjane (76) and Dhawal Kulkarni (6) ended the day for Mumbai.

For Bengal, Ashok Dinda picked up four wickets for 74 runs.

In Rajkot, Uttar Pradesh bowled the Railways out for 155 to complete a comprehensive 221-run victory that lifted them out of bottom place in Group A.
