CT2017: England opt to field against Australia

June 10 (CRICKETNMORE) - England Captain Eoin Morgan won the toss and opted to field against Australia in a Group A match of Champions Trophy at Edgbaston in Birmingham on Saturday. England have already qualified for the semi-final while Australia have to win this match to reserve their birth in semis.

Because of the overcast conditions and the moisture, the groundsmen has cut down the grass. The surface does feel very hard but because of the conditions, the captains could look to bowl first. The spinners might get a bit of purchase because it is very, very dry.
